Aunt Patty’s Chicken Pie Recipe

Here’s the Recipe in my mom’s handwriting!

 

6-8 Boneless Chicken Breasts cooked
1 1/2 cups Chicken broth 
1 1/2 cup Milk
3 tbsp margarine
3 tbsp flour
Salt & Pepper to taste
Uncooked Pastry Pie. 

Cut chicken into pieces and place in the bottom of a casserole dish (pie pan). Combine broth, milk, flour, and margarine on the stovetop. Bring to a boil. Pour chicken. Cover with pastry. Bake one hour at 375 degrees.

 
 
 
 

Apparently the recipe was from my Aunt Patty. She’s my mother’s twin sister. But my mother made this recipe for special occasions. This is the only thing I have with my mother’s handwriting.  The one picture is from when I made it for Sunday Family Day!!! The other 2 pictures are my mother. When she started her Labor and Delivery career and when then when she retired in 1991/1992. She was there when every one of her grandchildren were born. She died in 2006 of Multiple Myeloma.
