Getting Ready for a Sensational September

The Ascension Parish Ballooning festival is September 26th–28th and features fireworks, live entertainment, food, music, and hot air balloons of all shapes and sizes. From the nighttime beauty of the annual balloon glow to the tethered hot-air balloon rides, this is an exciting weekend for families throughout south Louisiana. But that’s not all! September 27th–28th is also the Best of the Bayou free concert in Houma, featuring Louisiana’s best rock group, Better Than Ezra. This is one of my favorite bands, and I hope to see you there!
