Introducing the Cloud Hill Series

Introducing the Cloud Hill Series

When Tina DeSalvo first visited the Rocky Mountains, it simply took her breath away…not because it was so spectacularly beautiful (which it is), but because she literally couldn’t breathe (she had traveled from below sea level where she lives, near the bayous of South Louisiana!). Still, she kept abusing her lungs to revive her soul, returning to the high-elevation mountains time and time again. Finally, those family vacations led to a dream realized: a second home in Colorado. Like she did with her Cajun Second Chance Novelseries — ElliJewellAbbyOut-lanta, a Second Chance in Vegas; and Hunt for Christmas— she uses her knowledge of the people, culture, lifestyle, and geography around her to create the stories in her new Cloud Hill Series (Christmas at the Inn on Cloud Hill is the first story).

Daniel Brooks returns to the tiny high-altitude village of Cloud Hill to get much-needed rest after months on tour. As one of the top Country Music stars for the last three years, he has been working non-stop in a career he loves. Still, he is burning-out quick. This Christmas break is needed and wanted. Coming to the village he spent much of his youth visiting his grandparents seems like the best place to refill his well. He didn’t count on running into an old friend who claims that her life was forever changed because of him – and not in a good way. Aurora Morgan had been the town misfit as a teenager. If that wasn’t bad enough, the boy she had a crush on hurt her and nearly got her killed – and he had no idea he had. Well, he would now. Thrown together more than Aurora wants because the clever town folks get her and Daniel to help with the annual Christmas Festival, they have to deal with more than a Nutcracker Christmas show, elderly women in tutus and a determined handy-man in a kilt. In doing so, it is possible that love will bloom in the icy Rocky Mountains.
